Before letting go of what was once treasured—or simply taken for granted—there is a moment of reckoning. Loss is met with lamentation, awe, and perhaps release. Long after surrender, fragments of memory gather into lived experience, lingering like a familiar fragrance carried beyond its source.

The work reflects on how memory survives not through permanence, but through continual reconstruction, where what is dispersed becomes the ground for new meanings to emerge.
